20th Anniversary Social
It was a perfect summer evening on August 10, as approximately 90 Village residents gathered in Dietsch Park to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of The Village Community Association.
In addition to the delicious ice cream treats, The Village residents enjoyed the chocolate and vanilla anniversary cakes, expertly served by VCA President Ardeth Staz and Vice President Carol Perrin.

Former members of the VCA executive - including Sally Harmer, a member of the first VCA Executive Board - were on hand to share their memories and stories of The Village. For a few new residents, it was their first VCA event and a chance to meet The Village community.
Last, but not least, thank you to the VCA Social Committee and their spouses for creating this special event.
A special thank you goes out to everyone who donated to the Newark Neighbours Back to School Food Drive.
The food bank was very grateful for our community’s contribution.
