Loyalty Partners: This is an initiative of the Membership Committee. To support local businesses and provide a benefit to our membership, a discount or other benefit is negotiated for VCA members. Gardening Committee
We are fortunate to have five parkettes within The Village. One of them has gardens planted and maintained by the Gardening Committee. Liaising with the Town, plants are ordered, planted, beds weeded through the summer and cleared in the fall. And we are fortunate to have volunteers to assist. The Committee also maintains the plant beds around the two Community Mailboxes in The Village as well. In 2017 The Village was instrumental in the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake winning the Communities in Bloom award. The Judges reviewed both The Village summer gardens as well as our Christmas displays in making their decision.

Holiday Decorating Committee
The Village is known for the spectacular Holiday lights and displays through the holidays each year. This is all done by the Holiday Decorating Committee who also inventory and store all the lights and props used each year.
Led by Village resident Dale DesIslets and many Elves.

The Village Round Table
The Village Round Table was first envisioned in 2016 by the Forward Planning Committee and formally established in 2018, during a period of rapid growth and residential construction in the Village. At that time, many new homeowners were unfamiliar with local processes and relied on the Round Table as a valuable, Village-wide forum for information-sharing and support. It served an important role in addressing common questions and fostering communication, especially when the VCA’s mandate was more limited and primarily social in nature.
As the Village matured, residential construction was completed and residents became more experienced and self-sufficient, leading to a natural decline in the need for a broad-based forum. In recent years, the Round Table’s focus shifted primarily to private laneway management and maintenance. As a result, the committee has been officially disbanded and replaced by the Self-Administered Laneway Team (SALT). This new group is independent of the VCA and is dedicated specifically to supporting representatives from the six self-administered laneways, providing a more focused forum for communication, collaboration, and resource-sharing on laneway maintenance matters.
