2025 Village Tree Lighting: Cold Temps, Warm Spirits
Just when we thought the Annual Village Tree Lighting couldn’t get any more magical….it does!
From the addition of Town Crier Tom Pekar to the perfectly timed snowflakes as Santa made his arrival and Mel & Grace began to sing, it was another Hallmark-movie-worthy moment in our beautiful neighbourhood.
Now for all the thank yous - and there are many because so much goes into an event like this. The Social Committee sends its gratitude to:
-
Dale Des Islets and his team for setting up all the lights in The Village. There would be no Tree Lighting without them
-
Santa Claus! Obviously.
-
Sentineal Carriages for giving Santa a lift and Village residents a ride to view the lights
-
Town Crier Tom Pekar for adding something new to the mix this year!
-
Mel & Grace for visiting our little neighbourhood and sharing their talents with us
-
John Watson for the unglamourous job of setting up and driving all the toy donations to NOTL Hydro
-
Dave and Katherine Wilson for helping to warm everyone up with their apple cider
-
John and Jean Roynon for use of their beautiful porch
-
Everyone who donated to the toy drive.
Thank you for your generosity.
